This article is kind of cool to see the military is getting on-board with robots and technology to keep soldiers safe. After the story I was reading a month or so ago about an RC truck saving the lives of some soldiers from an Improvised Explosive Device (IED). These robots are a little more advanced as soldiers can pick them up and throw them over walls and into second story windows to gain a better vantage point without exposing themselves. One of these robots was even dropped from a helicopter about 100 feet and still managed to rumble around with merely a slightly damaged wheel.

I hope these things can do some good in the line of fire and save the men and women who are out their fighting for us.
